    Advanced Services provides repair and installations of zoned HVAC systems. A zone system controls the temperature in specific zones of your home or commercial building. A zoning system controls the airflow to the zones by utilizing thermostats for each zone. A zone panel or control board receives signals from the thermostat(s) and controls the HVAC system and ducts damper(s).

    By zoning a HVAC system, you can reduce your energy usage and create a more comfortable environment in various zones of your home or commercial building. Another option to zone your home or commercial building is to install a multi-head minisplit HVAC system.

    Listed below are some components of the Zoning System.

Zone Panel

     An electronic control board that controls the operation of the HVAC system, zone dampers and any other equipment utilized by the zone system. The zone panel receives input from the zone thermostats and uses those requests to operate the necessary equipment or components of the zone system.

Zone Thermostat

     A zone thermostat is a special thermostat that works only with a zone panel to request heating or cooling in a zone.

Zone Damper

     A zone damper is device that blocks or allows airflow to a zone. The damper is located in the ductork of the HVAC system that is zoned. The zone damper is actuated by voltage.

Bypass Damper

     A bypass damper allows excess air to flow when the static pressure in the ductwork reaches a certain level. The excess air is usually allowed to flow to the return ductwork.
