Refrigerant R410a

    Refrigerant R410a is the refrigerant manufacturers are using due to the phaseout of the refrigerant R22. The refrigerant R410a is more environmentally-friendly and operates with higher efficiency when compared to the refrigerant R22. Advanced Services only installs new HVAC equipment that utilizes this new refrigerant or other refrigerants that are more environmentally-friendly than the refirgerant R22.
    Here is some additional information and characteristics of the refrigerant R410a.

R410a is more efficient than the refrigerant R22. R410a uses POE oil unlike mineral oil requirements of the refrigerant R22. R410a is less costly in comparison to the refrigerant R22. R410a operates at pressures 50 to 70% higher than those of R-22. R410a is an azeotropic mixture of HFC-32 and HFC-125. R410a contains no chlorine and its ozone depletion potential (ODP) is zero. R410a has the same safety classification as the refrigerant R22.
